Avis preferred - advice needed please
So we have another BA flydrive booked.
I have read on here so many times about becoming an Avis prefered member. If you join, do you benefit if you have booked BA and how do you go about linking it? or is it only worth it if you have booked directly with Avis and paid them direct? Also, the flydrive / BA bookings are in my name but hubby is always the main driver. I usually just go a second driver (but never actually drive) So would it be better to join in my name or in his if you do get the perks? Hope that all makes sense. Thank you

Join Avis preferred and call Avis to link. They don’t really mi d whose name is on the account -you present the licence of the driver when you check the car out. I rent Avis cars every 2-3 weeks in the USA and sometimes my husband picks the car up without me even being there!

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but is it Avis Preferred UK you join and is it the uk number you ring to link your BA booking?
