Not sure who posted this tip but I remember reading it a few weeks back
We came out of MK last night after the fireworks to find a 60 minute wait for Ferry/Monorail
I then remembered a post recently and we walked around to buses and caught No 27 back to TTC
We were in car within 20 minutes
Road out was very quite and we were back at Highgrove 25 minutes later

Wasn't me but shh we've been doing that for years unless MK is our last night park thenits the ferry just tradition

Can you take a stroller onto the bus without having to collapse it?

We always put the strollers down it's actually worth having to put them down compared to an hour or so to get on the ferry etc never mind out of the car park saves a good 40/60 mins at that time of night or after the afternoon parade if it's a party night it can be much quicker as well

We always leave the park just before the fireworks start and view them from the top deck of an empty ferry.

I guess this is less do-able now that a lot of the display is projection based but worked really well when it was all fireworks.

We did this after we had already watched the full display from in front if the castle. Ended up standing on the ferry dock watching the end. Was actually a really nice end to the day!

As I recall the other top tip is to walk left out of the park to the contemporary and hop onto the monorail BEFORE it gets to the MK stop. Then you are already on it and can stay on the loop round to the TTTC.
