The best way to get a head start is by staying in the park when it closes and waiting in one of the holding areas, they are let out before the crowds are let in. But you need Universal Tickets to do that.

Thursday and Wednesdays are quietest, Saturday and Fridays are the busiest. Although quiet is relative.

If you are only going for one evening, I would suggest getting either Express Passes or RIP Tours. RIP Tours get you to the front of the queue, express passes tend to cut the waiting time by half for the houses (so you can still queue for an hour).

American Horror is tipped as this years busiest house so you may want to do that one early on.

The earliest showing of Bill and Ted is often the quietest and make sure you save room for the snacks and drinks.

One night is never enough!
We are attending on Friday 29 September and didn't have a choice as we are only in Orlando for a week. Won't be buying extra tickets though. We have the Explorer tickets so that we can be in the park earlier.

In previous years, they have sold (very cheap) express passes on the day which are valid from 10pm. If you find you are not getting around the houses fast enough you may want to think about getting these

Thanks. Well worth considering if sold off discounted.
