This was with Virgin so we picked the $200 card up at the airport upon arrival... we then asked at Mouse Gear a few days later but they couldn't exchange it for some reason...

Not sure, I didnt push it to be honest...just asked the question but they said it couldn't be done and I just accepted it and moved on, no biggy

I didnt think of trying to buy 2 cards though...we just kept track of how much the kids put on it each

I’m sure you could. I had two vouchers for $100 gift cards yesterday and (without asking) she gave me one card with $200 on. She had to go away and get it as the Information Desk in World of Disney is currently a podium while they refurbish.
