Underwhelmed by star wars in disneyland

Okay, please dont shoot 🙈 the theming looks awesome but in my opinion (and it is just mine!) Its a big thing for 2 rides ... I know pandora is just 2 rides but I dont know, this to me was a bigger deal and I expected more. Theres merch a plenty! But... I just guess I feel underwhelmed!

This was from Tim trackers live stream that I watched for an hour and 10min of him exploring

I must say though, I did love where you can make your own droid!

It’s not doing much for me either but I have only seen a couple of the films other than the first three when I was a kid so I don’t really get the references. I imagine it’s amazing if you’ve followed all the films. I am looking forwards to the rides though. A good ride is a good ride even if the themes a bit lost on you. It does seem totally immersive from TTS vlog. Not big enough for all the people to come though!

Two rides is disappointing imo ( although we knew this would be the case for a number of years).

The merch looks good, and some of the eateries look reasonable. But not the whopping prices for the lightsabres that Stu and Smax are reporting on their opening day thread.

I suspect that the devil.will be in the detail and the crowd levels will be such that it will be a challenge to find and see the little theming details for a while, just main impressions... Lots and lots of other bodies...

If you think about it most ‘lands’ within any of the parks have just 2 big rides. Doesn’t seem like it, but that’s the reality.

So no complaints here. Have avoided watching any videos but couldn’t help reading a couple of reports.

At $100 dollars a time I don’t think I bother or $200 to build a light saver bet the prices for the Disney hotels will go up two. I not a fan of Star Wars never have been or toy story although I did like the first film so don’t think I be going back anytime over the next few years .

I must admit I agree as well, I’ve seen all the Star Wars films but I’m not a huge fan, so I wasn’t too disappointed to learn that we fly home the day it opens.
Harry Potter at Universal only opened with 2 rides, most of the new lands seem to now.

So I’ve now seen a Vlog of someone on the new ride Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run and can confirm that my excitement levels are rising somewhat. Looks like an great attraction!

After watching Tim Tracker on the millennium falcon I can’t wait. I have to say I’m glad there are lots of non Star Wars fans out there with no interest is going means less people there 😉

I’m not gonna watch any videos of the rides as I want to enjoy it for ourselves. I think it’s quite bad there opening there 2 main attractions at different times to force people to go back later in the year.
