Mouse Keeping/Tips
Just a quick one, I'm going to Florida in September for 2 weeks staying in Rosen Inn @ pointe on I-Drive. How does the mouse keeping work? what do other people do? and how much do you leave each day? Thankyou

My DW makes us leave $2 or $3 dollars a day.

Thankyou so much, I was thinking around that amount! I bet they make quite a bit per hour if every room is leaving them 3 dollars a time! Haha x

I think generally people tend to tip $1 per person staying in the room each day, and leave the tip each day rather than at the end of the trip

I don't tip in hotel rooms anywhere as the price for the room includes cleaning and the staff are not on a tipped salary.

Yeah that's what I will probably do, its just me and my boyfriend but I'm happy to leave 3 dollars a time, definatley worth it to come home to a tidy room after a long day around the parks

Oh really, I didn't realise the hotel price included the cost of cleaning? So they do get paid a set wage regardless?

Correct. at present as per provided link, In Orlando avg of $10.58 an hour for a housekeeper -

loads of jobs posted here - indeed/salaries/Hous...es,-Orlando-FL

Some people want to tip housekeepers, some think its compulsory and some dont feel the need.

I am opting out of Mousekeeping ( on-site Disney) and getting $10 back per day. Looking at it another way you are paying $10 already for the service and if I did not opt out I would not be paying any more.
