AVIS USA vs AVIS UK App

I've been logged in and signed up with the UK AVIS app for ages and my upcoming hire car is all present and correct.
Reading on here the AVIS USA app gives more info on the rental so I thought I'd install it and set it up.
Unless I'm doing something wrong but I can't log into the USA app with my UK AVIS details it throws me out saying the details don't match.
For those of you that are using the USA app how did you get logged in?

You have to setup a new account for the USA app but it was a simple process.

I have both the UK and USA app on my phone, I did use an apk to add the USA one. Both work.

Followed the instructions above from RickT's earlier post and all sorted now. Thanks.
