Car hire and fuel type

In the uk you can do a vehicle search here
gov.uk/get-vehicle-information-from-dvla

That will give you details of a specific car by number plate. This is were you could find your fuel type
There must be a website in florida where you could enter the licence plate or vin number to find out the fuel type of your rental car.
Maybe someone on here would know of such a website then it could made a sticky so if ever in doubt about fuelling the vehicle you could check the sticky

I did find this website
searchquarry/Florida...-plate-lookup/

So maybe if someone is out there at the moment they could enter their rental details it my come up with the fuel the vehicle uses

I doubt you will find a hire car in Florida that uses Diesel. As for grade of fuel, unless its a sports car, even then, use regular.

More diesels are being put on as hire cars. There is a post on here about it
