BA & BALPA Negotiating today?
Just wondering if BA and BALPA will carry on negotiating today or will they resume talks on Monday? My countdown reveals my interest.
I hope that a resolution is reached and no ones holiday is disrupted, it puts a bit of a damper on the usual holiday excitement |

Not sure, they did negotiate late on Thursday night so maybe it continued into the wee hours last night. They didn't carry on last weekend but who knows, neither BA nor BALPA seems keen to keep the people who ultimately are keeping them gainfully employed informed as to the progress or lack thereof.

Seems like the head points website is saying they are negotiating again on monday, which would mean strike dates cannot be before 27th august, but obviously no official word as far as I can see, been worrying about it myself since strikes were announced

Thank you, website says
Has British Airways blinked first in BALPA pilot dispute? Whilst details are slim, my understanding is that British Airways may have blinked first in the on-going dispute with pilots union BALPA. After talks broke down on Thursday, BALPA was on the brink of publishing the first set of strike dates when British Airways discovered the location of their magic money tree. Talks on the new deal will continue at ACAS on Monday. Which is very hopeful |
