Car hire Paris

Hi,

Hope this is ok to post here! Is there anything I need to be aware of when hiring a car in Paris. We are looking at picking one up at the airport and driving to Disney.

What type of insurance do I need to make sure is included etc...
Many thanks for your help.

Are you just using the car to transfer to Disney ?
The main thing I can remember when we drove in Paris is that they drive like lunatics !
I am sure in Europe all the insurance is included except the optional insurance for tyres

If it is just for DLP don’t bother. So many ways to transfer. RS Transports will get you there in 45 minutes very inexpensively.

Awww thanks for the reply. I should have said we are staying at the Davy Crocket Ranch which needs transportation to and from the parks.
Thanks again

Book with a eu hire car company, like hertz, europcar, avis etc..

I've not rented recently, but normally you have to pay more for additional coverage like excess waiver cover or take the risk of having a high excess.

Hi
Try AutoEurope. They have rates, Firefly, that are zero excess with extended cover for glass, underside and tyres. I use them for my frequent trips to Italy and whilst the vehicles can be a bit long I the tooth not having to worry about claims is a big plus for me. Beware that some of the quotes that say zero excess do not include tyres glass and underside.
