Wow, thank you RickT, brilliant post, and I’m a bit worried about how excited I was looking at the photos 🙄

The store looks nice and roomy for an Aldi, our local one is like a rabbit hutch, and I’m sure the one we went to in Lakeland was a little small too, but I can’t remember all the details after travelling for 18 hours!

We are at highlands reserve this year so nice and close. We don’t have much of a villa food fund this year (savings tin is a bit empty as everything is contactless, so very little cash), so a couple of shops in Aldi should do us fine.

We went into the newish one on the 192 yesterday. Fresh meat, veg, fruit, milk is definitely much cheaper than even Walmart. For example 2 chicken breasts were $4.39 in Walmart, more or less the same weight ones in Aldi were $2.59

I find many of the Aldi prices to be excellent. The new one above is exceptionally spacious, easy to get around quickly and a far more pleasant experience compared to the Wal-Mart at Old Lake Wilson.

We are in Bradenton at the moment, The Aldi is across the street from the Neighbourhood Walmart, Milk is CHEAPER in the Walmart they also had a better selection of bread ,Orange Juice butter, tomato ketchup, bbq sauce fruit were all cheaper in Aldi.
