Sofitel if you can get it for that price followed by Hampton by Hilton.

Doesn’t really matter which terminal as they are so close and connected by the transfer tram thingy.
We stayed in the premier inn north in May and it was great. I’d go for a bigger room at the bloc for the runway views. Edited at 08:07 AM. |

We always use the Bloc hotel. Brilliant location and we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a runway view room. It was amazing watching the planes take off and land through the evening. We use our Tesco vouchers to pay for it as well, so it’s usually a freebie.

We used Bloc last year and really recommend it. We could see the runway from our room, the room was very small - but expected and was comfortable. A good nights sleep (well as much as we would get a night before a holiday). It was convenient to wonder down to get a Costa and we had to get some medication for our daughter from the boots. We then went and had dinner in Giraffe.

We like the Premier Inn on Airport Way. I got 4 rooms for £32 for our upcoming trip. We are doing the meal deal too. Brekkie and dinner.

Nicest is probably the Sofitel but overpriced
Budget and walkable Premier North Terminal Walkable and nice within a budget Hampton by Hilton Most surreal and tiny Yotel Most can be a bit noisy . Best value and quiet with a nice bar was Travelodge plus ,a very very short shuttle from both terminals ...we paid £28 earlier this year for Easter Sunday . It was far nicer than I expected, even had a free Easter egg hunt for he kids |
