Do I need to book a reservation for ABC Commisary?

Just wondering what thoughts people have on booking this for dinner, is it necessary?

I think it's one of the most popular QS places to eat in HS so I would probably book if you can. You can always cancel nearer the time if you don't require it anymore xx

Someone I know has just been there on a reservation in the last few days.

Reservations are seated in their own area and food is served to them.

Even without GE being open I would do it, but once it is open I would imagine you’ll be incredibly glad of the ADR rather than the scrum it will become

We've booked for this exact reason.

So I made a reservation for ABC Commissary at 6:10 happy days, then I thought I would have another look to see if I could get a reservation at Ogas Cantina at GE as I looked yesterday and couldn't get one. Well low and behold a time came up for 6:45 but this meant it clashed with my reservation at ABC, so I just had to do the most obvious and cancel my one at ABC and reserve the one at Ogas Cantina. Then I went and made an earlier reservation at ABC for 5:00,result I know it means a bit of running back and to around HS but I'm happy with this especially getting the one at Ogas

On an evening (after 4) food I s brought to you at the table even without a reservation. We ate there last week... reservations were seated on the left and walk ins on the right that was the only difference. We got a table no problem without a reservation. This will probably change once Star Wars opens though when I would definitely book.

Lunch time is much busier in there than the evening and almost impossible to find a free table.

I'm happy with my reservations as I know it's going to be busy with the opening of GE, we are on the QS dining plan and IMO ABC Commissary is one of the better QS restaurants.
