Shall i risk it?

Hi all, im travelling to Florida Thursday Morning wih my boyfriend, were only 20 years old so we cant drink over there.

Just wondered if we would be ok taking a bottle of vodka in my suitcase, so that we could have a sly drink LOL at nightime in our apartment.

We werent planning on getting really drunk with hangovers and stuff, just a couple on a night!

Would it be ok going through customs!

This is what I thought about doing but buying it from departures and getting a receipt to prove i purchased it in britain. But I don't know what american regulations are. We will be 19 when my boyrfriend and I go. It sucks not being able to have a beer with your meal or in the evening.

I think its just because of state regs. and if you were caught at customs they'd probs just confiscate it, providing you show that you bought it at airport.

don't even think about it - the law is 21 and they are very very strict. Go and have a good time sober - it's absolutely not worth the risk.

I'm not going to even consider taking anything if thats the case. I don't want to make a scene in customs!

I wouldn't risk a fantastic holiday for the sake of a bottle of Vodka!

The worse thing is you try to take it through and theytake it off you ( or worse still put you on the next plane home for being a troublemaker )

Do what you feel is right but be prepared to be let down
