Can I ask with these pre orders, do you pay the full amount at time of buying or pay a deposit and they take the balance once item is shipped, just curious as iam pre ordering the xbox series x on tuesday.

It may depend on who you order with, but Argos took the full amount.

Yes, depends who you are buying from.
Argos is the full balance immediately.
Curry’s are charging a £5 non refundable deposit.
I think Amazon is payment on despatch as I’ve ordered a controller off them but they haven’t taken anything yet.

We managed to get a pre order with Argos this morning at 5AM. Had a confirmation email and text with the order number 🙂
