I was eligible for a DAS when I went to Disney and will be enquiring this time around when I go in July as I’ve still got IA with a trigger to getting too hot & stressed!
The cast member at Guest services was lovely and although I had taken my paperwork from my consultant, they didn’t want to see it, but it made me feel better having to hand. I was asked the question as to why I felt I couldn’t queue and how a DAS would benefit me and I just explained the symptoms that I can suffer with. It took maybe 5 mins to discuss, then the cast member said based on what I’d said I was eligible for a DAS, took my photo and set up the DAS and then asked if I’d like to book a ride return time with him. A very painless process and I was worrying myself so much about it that I nearly didn’t ask. Hope this helps. |
