Transformation of EPCOT has Begun

They reused the pavilion as an entrance, and bolted on the most ginormous building on the back to hold the coaster. When I was at Aventura hotel from that distance you can see the epcot ball and the GOTG building and nothing else.

Has anyone watched the D23 Parks and Resorts panel yesterday? I really like what they're planning for Epcot. The new and improved Spaceship Earth seems like a great improvement on a tired 37-year old ride, with a good balance of keeping classic scenes with enhanced effects, and brand new scenes. But overall, I really like that they're adding so much greenery and water features, and that new 3-story festival pavilion behind Spaceship Earth, with the garden on the roof providing great views of the fireworks. It will be a very beautiful place compared with the dated Future World we know today!
