BA World Premier Plus meal pre-order weird query

Hello everyone,
We're due to fly on BA's World Premier Plus class to MCO in November, and I believe 30 days out we can pre-order the meal.
My weird query is, can you indicate you don't want one? Hot food on planes have a tendency to make me air sick and as such I always turn down the hot food when we fly, but it seems a shame for them to waste a meal I'm not going to eat! Also it hopefully means I won't get the meals waved too much under my nose which otherwise always makes me ill.
Thank you!

The benefit of preordering is basically ensuring that people who want a meal get the meal that they want, and the airlines make sure they load more of a more popular dish, to avoid wastage. I don't think you have to preorder - you can just say to the cabin crew on the day that you don't want one. I'm like you in the way hot food on planes makes me feel sick and on our recent Virgin flight they offered the tray with comes with the hot food, ie the salad/dessert/bread roll etc. That could be an option for you.

We just came over on BA WT+ and were the only ones who pre - ordered you don’t have to .
I never have a breakfast on any flight as I don’t eat soon after waking up .
I often get nauseous on planes and usually ask for peppermint tea to settle me .
