Hotel recommendations LA

Hi, as part of our West Coast itinerary for next August we are spending four nights in LA. Our plans include Universal, Six Flags, Warner Bros tour and general Hollywood sightseeing. Can anyone recommend any hotels that would be centrally located for these things please? We will have a car but are happy to Uber. We like hotels rather than motels, would like walking distance to food places, good three star and above and would love a pool. My budget is around £900 for the four nights. Thank you :-)

Have a look at Lowes Hollywood. You might get a deal for 4nts.
Excellent hotel, ideal for Universal/Hollywood areas, plus plenty around here.
We stayed here at Easter and done all the things you have said from this hotel. We used Uber.

We are staying at the Hilton at Universal city (just across from the enterance to universal) and the metro station is just a short walk away getting you to Other area of Hollywood and LA. 4 nights should be well within your budget, we paid about £700 for 4 nights this October.

That was actually the one I had my eye on but it's currently coming up at about £1,050 for the 4 nights. I will wait and see if it comes down. Thank you.

Just checked we booked first week of Jan this year for Oct on ebookers when they were running a sale. the room price was £681 for 4 nights but we had £26 in bonus+ credits from a different hotel booking and then also had 13% cashback + £20 bonus cashback for a £500+ hotel booking on Quidco. So assuming the cashback is paid we will have paid £546!

I would hang on until after Xmas as often when they have some great deals running into early jan.

We stayed at the Hilton LA North/Glendale when we had four nights of our three-week West Coast trip in and around LA and it's convenient for the places you mention.

It's a lovely hotel inside with a pool to chill out in at the end of the day.

The breakfasts were really, really good too.

We booked via Hotwire but I knew we were getting that specific hotel based on the description.

Tangerine Hotel in Burbank, it’s a five min walk to a Warner Bros Studio. The rooms are all unique and you get free pastries and coffee etc for breakfast.
