February 2020 10 day Rough Plan

After doing 2 weeks in July 2018 and not having a big holiday this year we felt the time was right to look at heading back. Mrs Lees suggested February as some warmth at the end of the winter would be nice.

Last time we stuck to Disney, so this time Universal is the plan. 2 Posh Universal Hotel stays will get us Express Passes which are a must have for my youngest who cannot do queuing.

We will likely do one LONG day at Hollywood Studios for Galaxy's Edge. The youngest qualifies for DAS Pass, so hopefully we'll get to do both new Star Wars rides.

We have flights with Norwegian, gulp, so all bookings have been made on a free cancellation basis aside from Flights (on Credit Card) and Villa and we also have very good Travel Insurance with End Supplier Failure cover.

We've booked a reasonably priced DIBB villa and our car hire (Full Size with Alamo) through Andy at DFCH.

Feels slightly odd that we can have wiggle room in the plan compared to Disney where you have to plan parks on specific days due to Fastpasses.

Fly from LGW to TPA, land 7pmish.
Drive to Orlando
Stay at Monte Carlo Inn, cheap, seems OK, we just need a place to lay our heads.

Drop bags at HR early and pick up Express passes.

Stay at Towneplace Suites at Seaworld

15th
Recovery/Shopping/Check into Villa
Check into DIBB Villa at Indian Ridge which we have until the 22nd.

TBC - Kissimmee Swamp Tour?

Stay at Universal's Loews Royal Pacific Resort
Drop bags early and pick up express passes.

Spend Morning in Orlando, drive to Tampa after lunch. Leave Tampa on 9pm flight. :-(
