I was going to say it’s a waste of money when there’s free parking available - but, thinking back to trying to park back in July- it was awful. We spent 20 minutes driving round, found someone leaving, indicator on, and someone drove straight into space whilst we were reversing. So stressful, I’d definitely pay next time.

This happened to us someone drove straight into our space I don’t think they reverse in spaces etc like us had so many problems so like you said well worth the money to avoid that.

It's a brilliant backup, app is easy to use and it's free to register. Just add a payment card and you're good to go. If you arrive and there's an empty free space take it - if not drive to the my park section hit the app and drive in. I've been at the Florida Mall, people circling a full car park ready to pounce on anyone who moves but the my park spaces have empty spots. The barrier drops as soon as you press to choose the space.

Probably because in some places in Florida & other states, it’s illegal to reverse into parking spaces & you can be ticketed/ fined.

One of the reasons being that Floridians aren’t required to have both a front & rear licence plate; only rear, so reversing into a space would not allow your plate to be visible.
