Disney App - Ticket Notification?

Off to Universal for 7 days this weekend but it's my partners birthday so planning to buy a surprise one day Disney Hopper to do Hollywood Studios for Galaxy's Edge and Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival.

Only ever either done a week at Universal or 2/3 weeks Universal and Disney (with full 2 week tickets) - so feels a bit of a waste of money to get just a one-day to be honest, but wouldn't want to cram in more Disney. (Let me know if I am making a mistake and should just put that money towards a full 2 week ticket next May!)

If I buy the tickets direct from Disney and then add each ticket to my Disney account and my partners Disney account will they get a notification or email that there has been a ticket added?

So...

1 - Am I able to add both my ticket and their ticket (or would they have to add theirs)

2 - Do they get an email or notification that a tickets has been added to their account?
