Standard SUV Price & Size
We are looking at booking a standard SUV for 15 days from 29 May 2020 to 13 June 2020 for 5 adults with Andy at Discount Florida Car Hire and the price is coming at £560. Do you think this will be big enough for us and is that a good price?
Many thanks.

A standard SUV is the equivelant of a Rav 4 over here. All depends on how big you guys are. It would be ok for short trips, not so good for luggage. Have a look at Rav 4's and see how you would feel having 5 people in one of them.
Ive just booked our next rental through VIPCars, never used them before but they have good online reviews and you get a confirmation from the rental company. A standard SUV for your dates (based on a 40 year old, and returning the car one hour before the collection time, and from MCO airport) is £429 and a full sized SUV coming up at £517. |

Have to disagree Rav 4 is an inter SUV across all hirers.
Standard is a tad bigger. Generally boot and front seat size. 5 will fit cases to and from airport is always the key. Can be solved by, 1. An uber for 2 people cost is dependent on destination. 2. A Chevy Traverse is in row and it has a huge boot bigger than all next size up and as big as some premium. You can never pre guess whats in line so go option 1. or upgrade at a larger cost than 2 ubers. Price book with any free cancellation supplier then re book if price drops. Price is par not bad or good. Enjoy.

Did you book with Andy and how often did you check to see if the price went lower, I would much prefer to pay £330.

His price today with 1 driver is £556. You could secure that and then check daily for price drops.
£543 with VA and 2 drivers. I always check at least 12+ sites before booking.

I booked and intermediate SUV for 3 weeks in January. The price has dropped nearly £100 over the last couple of weeks so it’s good to reserve and then keep checking.

How do you add the second driver Tom if going straight to the garage?

There is actually no need to add it with Brits and VA etc. However if you want to it's at the online check in stage. Not easy to spot but there is a tick box which opens up a place to insert the 2nd driver.
The barrier Guys can also do it.

We go on 29th May - 12th June and at the time i sorted my car hire i got a Standard 7 seat SUV from DFCH for £450, not long after i booked the prices shot up but i'd imagine over the next few months the prices will come down again.
