A of A breakfast
Quick question. If you book an AofA family suite and upgrade to the DDP Do you still get the free breakfast as well?

The free breakfast is really 1 quick service credit per person, per night that can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you upgrade to DDP you will keep that QS credit, and you will also get a table service credit + 2 snacks (per person, per night) + a refillable mug (only for drinks in resorts, not in parks - sodas, tea, coffee...) per person for the length of your stay.
In my opinion you will get better value out of quick service credits for lunch or dinner, as breakfast tends to be cheaper. Edited at 12:16 AM. |

It’s an upgrade so you get what you have paid for any anything else’s to make it up to the package you have bought. So you would not get the DDP plus an additional QS (yaps siad it’s not breakfast it’s a QS credit) which is what I think you are asking.
Word of warning though the food at AoA is dreadful make sure you eat elsewhere. Edited at 08:16 AM. |

That's the first time I've read a negative report of the food at AoA as most people seem to rate it as a QS food court. Hopefully it's improved since your experience 🤞
Op, when you upgrade, you don't keep the breakfast (QS credit). You go from having 1 QS credit per day to having 1 QS, 1 TS and 2 snacks a day, plus the refillable resort mug. So, the money you pay to upgrade effectively gets you 1 TS, 2 snacks and the mug as you already have a QS credit with the free breakfast.

Have you priced up staying at a moderate resort and upgrading the free qs to ddp?

Thanks, just a query as I have stayed at AofA before but without the dining plan. Otherwise I have used both QS and DDP plans on a number of other visits. Just thought if you got the breakfast credits too it would be a ridiculous amount of food.
