Discovery Cove with a 2.5yr old

Hi all,

Looking for your experiences and tips for taking a 2.5yr old to Discovery Cove.

Obviously no dolphin swim for the little one which also means booking a different time to my partner so we each look after the little one whilst the other does the swim.

Thanks

We did this back in 2005, DH and I swam together and my mum stayed with the kids (3 & 5) until it was her turn but had to leave early for the safety talk. They played happily on the beach behind us, there were buckets and spades there, but I suppose it helped that there was 2 of them. If you and your partner play with the little one on the same beach as the other is doing the swim at least you can see them.

All I can say is make sure there's plenty of time between the 2 of you as the safety talk takes a while.

We didn’t even ask. They just saw me taking pics from a distance with our daughter and invited us all over. The staff were all super nice!
