FPs for shows
So I know the general consensus is that it isn't worth fastpassing shows. However I have a son with additional needs, who will find it hard to sit still for the duration of the show let alone another half hour beforehand to get a seat. So if I FP the show, does it mean we can literally turn up five minutes before and there will still be seats available?
At AK, I can probably only FP either Lion King or Nemo as we are only doing two days there and already planned all the others. So which is more likely to need one? At HS, I only have one planned for Frozen, as I am trusting the advice that they aren't really needed. How early will I need to show up for the other shows? Thanks! |

We have never FPed little mermaid, beauty and beast, lion king or nemo and we've never showed up more than about 15 mins early. It does help that we go at quiet times of year, and also I would recommend unpopular showtimes, e.g. The first one, which can be 9.30/10. We got in to lion king with just 2 mins to spare for the first show of the day!

We fastpass Lion King as my then 4 year old liked to sit near the front and we usually go around lunchtime.
Nemo theatre is massive so I don't think it's really needed. Beauty and the Beast you get designated seating. Frozen ever after I don't think is worth a fastpass as you all merge into a holding area anyway.

That's very useful information as I was also debating whether to FP the shows.
