Avis Preferred

Hi,

I'm thinking I maybe imagined this but I seem to remember somebody posting in a thread that you need to untick some boxes on your Avis Preferred account to avoid things being automatically added on...

I've looked on my account and can't see anywhere to untick anything?

Following this as I had heard the same but can't see what to untick, (but also went last year and weren't charged extra for anything)

I have never unticked anything on my preferred account and have never experienced any additional costs for car hire in Florida and have used Avis for years, I did get an additional charge of £77 when picking up hire car in Rome, they claimed I asked for upgrade, no way but couldn't prove I didn't so had to just suck it up.

Not heard that one. Use Avis Preferred a lot, including last week and not had to tick or untick anything
