We tend to use the waterparks for cooling down in the afternoon so really only 2 hours maybe three. The one exception was when DS was chosen Ski Captain (the only day we have ever been there for opening) ... we stayed most of the day enjoying our cabana

At one park, not sure which, I did indeed walk into the female changing rooms. I was disorientated and distracted. What makes it worse is that your brain cannot comprehend what you are seeing so you linger for just a moment too long trying to figure it out. Utterly embarrassing to say the least

For an encore of embarrassment that is even worse, on my visit in 2014 I was coming out of a Harry Potter shop in Diagon Alley. Some little kid grabbed my arm thinking I was his dad. He obviously wasn't looking. Again my brain couldn't comprehend what was happening so I walked a little bit further toward the door with this kid attached to my arm. His father came up to me with a smile. Again absolutely embarrassing

Hotel Reviews: 1
Like many of you we don't stay more than about 2.5-3 hours. We go about 3 times during a 2 week trip. We go early for opening, do the big slides quickly whilst no queue, then the lazy river before it gets too busy, then the wave pool. We then sunbathe for about 10 mins (we get bored easily) then shower and leave and go to Disney Springs for lunch. We then head back to the hotel for a short break and change of clothes etc before out to a park for the afternoon, dinner ADR and evening.

We don't get a locker, we don't take valuables or money into the park, we use our magic bands for paying for anything we need and just leave our clothes on the sun loungers.

Parking is still free at BB and TL but we would go to the magic kingdom or epcot at 5pm having to pay for the parking then.

In 2004 we (ex DH and I) spent 1 day at TL (I hated it).
In 2007 we (ex DH and I) spent 1 day at DC
In 2017 we (my DS4 and I) spent about 6 hours in TL and we loved it. We probably would have spent longer there but we had plans at BOG in MK.

I'd rather be in the 'main' parks than a water park.

If it's really hot in a main park, and we've been walking for quite a while then the thought of a water park is tempting.

After a couple of hours or so in the water park we're ready for a main park again

I never understand why people shower, wash and dry hair and do make up all in the water park locker rooms... we just go back to the hotel to do that! Much nicer place to do it. We dry off before heading out and I can live with being a little 'waterparky' until we get back!
