Moana

Hi,
Does anyone know if and where you can meet Moana at Disney?
I've been reading you can meet her at Hollywood studios but I can't find her on the map on MDE app

She isn’t available for meet and greets at the moment unfortunately 🙁

She USED to be at Hollywood Studios but isn't anymore. You can't meet her anywhere at WDW currently.

She has been at the Halloween and Xmas parties so might be there again this year, but the queues are huge so depends how long you are willing to wait / if you are going then.

There is talk of her coming to Adventureland in MK at some point but no one knows when. They are having casting problems as they need quite a few Moanas in order to have someone as Moana full time, and they just don't have enough people who fit what they are looking for

Yup only at the parties, and the queues are huge - I know this because I waited in line to meet Moana at one of the MNSSHPs last year (we got in line around 4pm... party started at 7pm...)

I met Moana at DLP she is in the studios - not sure if she is a regular. It was a fantastic interaction!

I heard the only reason is staffing. They need 20 + similar cast members to create a meet and greet and with moana's ethnicity, size etc they struggled with this.

Yes this is exactly the reason. Their requirements are very specific anyway for people in these roles and they have the added complexity that Moana is Polynesian, meaning they have a very limited amount of people to work with and they just cannot get enough people to play the role
