Do you intend doing a renovation thread on this? It sounds rather interesting and such threads are in any case, rather popular at the moment.

We were quoted £250 + vat for each calculation when we did our extension a few years ago.

We didn’t use them in the end though as a (qualified 😂 ) family friend offered to do them for free. We landed on our feet there, but our quote doesn’t make yours look expensive.

I’ve been doing a monthly thread since we moved in a year ago - Novice renovators - sort of a DIY SOS meets Escape to the Country😂. We have been here a year on Friday, best thing we did and couldn’t have timed it much better!

Yep, it doesn’t, in fact if we need 3 door lintels plus the big steel that is the £1000!
