Silly question !

Do you keep them or just throw them out after a while ?

I always keep mine, as I generally upgrade when my contract ends after 2 years and I always manage to sell my current phone, so like to sell it with the box and packaging

We have a big box full of just Apple boxes - MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, Mac Minis iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches, keyboard, mice, AppleTVs and a Time Capsule.

It's almost certainly the case that we have boxes for devices we no longer have but not sure I can be ≈≈≈≈≈ to check!

We buy our phones outright, so if I go for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, my iPhone 11 Pro Max would go to my partner, her iPhone X would go to my daughter, her iPhone 8 Plus would go to my son and his iPhone 6 Plus would be tossed in a cupboard.

...and an iPhone 12 Pro Max box would go into the Apple box box!

Given the size of our metal filing tin I think we have instructions and guarantees for long replaced items. If I don't become free soon I might get round to sorting it. Or maybe not.

I keep mine while I still have the phone/watch/MacBook.

I sell all my old iPhones too so it comes in handy to have the box to send it off in, I recently made £101 on my iPhone 7.

Similar to our set up.

I’ll get the 12 pro max, dd will get my xs max. Her X will be sold. Next year dh will get the new release and dd will get his 11 pro. Then the xs max will be sold.

We keep all the boxes for selling on too.

It’s one of the few things we keep as the phone/device are worth more with original packaging when it’s time to sell.
