Oh yes, they go up as soon as the Halloween ones go down - literally overnight. The first Christmas party is usually about 7th (not happening this year although there is an after hours party). Everything will be in full swing by then.

We did 1-14 November and it was perfect, very quiet apart from the last day. The first week is 'Jersey Week' when lots of people come from New Jersey, but I can't say it made a difference to us apart from hearing a lot of Noo Joisey accents.

Check when Food & Wine Festival finishes - it might be over by then which would be a shame to miss it. But avoid Epcot at weekends during the festival, and particularly the Food & Wine Half Marathon weekend as that gets really busy.

Weather was between 18 and 22C most days. Couple of very cold evenings with a bitter wind, and the waterparks were shut both days we tried to do them due to 'cold' (it was about 20C so not cold for Brits!) We had one day of 25C which we struggled with as we hate the heat.

That week will be Thanksgiving week. So it will be VERY busy. And if you're looking at this year, reservations for MK and HS for a lot of those days (21-26) are already booked up.

As Gill said, Christmas decorations will be up. And by late November, even the resorts should be finished as they're a bit later than the parks. Epcot usually doesn't have a festival that week, as it's typically the changeover from F&W to FotH although you might catch the last couple of days of F&W.

Weather is good (IMO - I also hate the heat) though. If you have the flexibility to move a week either way, the crowds should be significantly less. Particularly the week after Thanksgiving.

Your trip will overlap with Thanksgiving. That is a very big holiday week so you might find crowds pickup as do room rates and rental cars. Otherwise, November is a fairly quiet month with cooler weather. Personally not my favourite as the warmer weather reminds me I'm in Florida. On the upside, the rainy season is over.

Actually, I’ve been twice during Thanksgiving and apart from the actual day itself, the week doesn’t feel as busy as everyone says.

Day temperatures are still nice although you may get a couple of days that are noticeably colder (but still better than here haha!). We bought cheap hoodies from Uniqlo and found that they came in handy in the evening.

Thanksgiving is on the 25th this year.

Usually rates as 9/10 on the crowd calendars for the few days shouldering Thanksgiving itself (Wed-Sat) itself so very busy. One of the busiest weeks of the year, probably second to Christmas. But a lot of domestic visitors also take the opportunity to have a few extra days off and stay the whole week. So expect heavy crowds from the Saturday before Thanksgiving (20th) until the Sunday afterwards. Especially this year due to delayed trips and the 50th anniversary.

It can be manageable with good planning (especially if they bring back fastpass by then) but if you're used to September which ranks around 3/10 crowd wise, it will be a shock.

You’ll need to watch, Disney’s park pass calendar already has some parks like MK and HS booked out for most of that week, suggests it will be very busy and you might not get to do the parks you want? Passes might be refilled but it’s a risk.

disneyworld/availa...gments=tickets

I’m looking at moving to the 30oct for 3 weeks so interested in the crowds etc.
