Coverless duvet

Saw these advertised, basically just a printed duvet. I'm finding it harder to put duvet covers on and this seemed like a good idea. Has anyone bought one or know anything about them?

They sound like what Americans would call comforters. Most people use them with a flat sheet underneath so the comforter doesn't need washing very often.

It definitely looks the same as an American comforter. I would be too hot with the polyester cover fabric but my daughter sleeps with one that we wash regularly without a problem. It doesn't ever need ironing either. She hates top sheets and it is fine without one.

My inlaws have the comforter style and rave about it.

Uk version of an American comforter. I brought the boys comforters from Walmart must be 8 yrs ago now and they are still going strong despite being used daily and washed regularly - far easier than faffing around with duvets & duvet covers

For those that have these, how easy is it to wash and dry a king size one or do you have a second one in case you can’t dry it the day you wash it?
