August 2022- will there be more flights?
Hi all
We had a trip booked for August 2020 which was moved to August 2021 and has now been moved to next August. I am finding it really hard to find flights this year. I know there are lots of people trying to re-book trips but there seems to be very few direct flights available (and when they are they are super expensive.) Do you think companies will release more flights or is this it?! I have been looking at indirect flights or other options as we are flexible but everything seems to be working out so pricey! |

Its really hard to say, I would guess it all comes down to demand.
If all the seats book up and they still have 100s of people searching flights then yes I can't see why they wouldn't. But flight prices for next year are sky high, literally. I can't imagine demand will be that big for those kind of prices |

Flight prices are now closer to an airlines non discounted price.
Less aircraft and airlines flying and the aircraft are smaller than before, so less seats and high demand keeping prices up.

what happened to your last flights? Were they refunded or is it a voucher?
I rebooked my cancelled flight with Virgin for no extra cost and others have managed this too

Our TA has got us BA direct flights from Heathrow to MCO for next August, Premium outward and Economy inward for £5800 for 2 adults and 2 teens.
It's alot of money but it will probably be our last Floriday and looking at the Virgin flight prices just now, it's actually very good.

Quick update, the flights I mentioned are actually £5400.
VA were £5800 for Economy both ways!
