I would hope it does multi room using the existing mini boxes, as these run off the WiFi rather than the dish, as they connect to the box, so I expect them to connect to the TV instead.

We’re currently waiting for a new Sky Q box as our hard drive is knackered, meaning we can’t stream or download anything or use the mini box. We can only watch live tv on the main box.

We’re not in the market for new TVs right now, we replaced the living room one a week before lockdown last year and the kitchen one earlier this summer, but definitely worth considering when we are in the market again.

No way would I be 'renting' 3 new TV's.

I don't want Sky Broadband as I am on Copper wire with BT and that's dire. No fibre where I live.

But, the concept sounds good so more detail and personal reviews required.
TVs are bought out right not rented, but there’s an option to pay over 2 or 4 years or all up front.

I meant it as more of an example rather than actually using them. Pucks/mini boxes sound like the same thing to me but with a different name.

I'm really interested in this as we moved last November and had nothing but bother trying to get Sky because of some trees out the back of us (since found out that the previous owners had to get rid of sky and get Virgin because of this). We have Virgin and a year on we still moan about it all the time. 6 months left in contract then we will hopefully go for this as we also were just about to replace the living room tv.

Hoping Sky market the box available in Germany here.

Sky Glass will be very popular.

Not sure how charging £5 per month to skip adverts will fly.
I see it is free for first year only.

I realise the concept of paying for 'no ads' is accepted on ITV Hub and elsewhere, but this is an extra fee on top.

Does it mean you will be able to skip ads on all channels if you pay ?
More likely it means you can skip ads on Sky channels.

Makes BBC look good value if Sky are charging £60 per year to skip ads.

So is part of the monthly listed amount on the spec for the cost of the TV?

I posted this on another thread, they don’t guarantee your picture quality, so if you have a household with very heavy internet usages you might want to think

This is the legal bit at the bottom of the page, you pay £26 per month for Sky Ultimate TV (obviously add movies/sports as required,) then from £13 per month (43”) for the TV, on a 48 month interest free loan, (can also pay over 24 months or up front.) The Sky part of the package is a 31 day rolling contract - if I’ve read it right.
