Is Disney Resort Hopping still allowed?

I often enjoy leaving the parks and having a look around the resorts.

In the current situation, is this still allowed, or do you have to have a restaurant reservation? Or would the excuse of going to pick up a mobile order suffice?

At the moment, I believe they're still only letting in cars if you have an ADR or mobile order placed. Note some of the MK resorts (recently Contemporary and Poly) have been restricting mobile order to guests only, presumably to stop people driving in and parking there instead of at TTC.

But if you're using Disney transport, it's not restricted at all. You're free to go wherever you like.

So you can arrive on a monorail at the Polynesian and they wont ask any questions?

I really hope there are absolutely ZERO restrictions by the time all us DIBBERS start to arrive as i'm sure there are many (inlcuding me) who enjoy having a nosey round resort shops, grounds etc... We usually have the excuse of a restaurant booking but occasionally just want to pop into the shop to grab a resort specific item or two..

If you're driving, just park at Disney Springs and jump on a resort bus. Zero restrictions already doing it that way.
