Virgin UC wing at LHR open?

Can anyone confirm if the wing is open or if you need to check in in the terminal please?

I know the fast track security is closed but can’t see on the website if the whole wing is closed or if it’s still worth checking in there from a taxi?

It is just the security part that is closed, the wing is open for drop off

Fingers crossed it opens for you before you go. We would like to use this too.

Where will they send you to go through security? I assume the regular lines, but where are they in comparison to the UC wing?

Will divert you to normal security lines (so could take longer) . Just as quick to usual Upper Desks on Ground floor and catch the “magic” lift to security as the upper wing can get very busy with cars dropping off . That is what I will do in Dec if the Upper Security channel is not open
