Mobile Las Vegas Clubs

Hi guys

Only 3 more days to go!

Does anyone know of a good website with info on Vegas day/night clubs?

Also, what is the best way to try and get on the guest list to avoid waiting in line?

Thanks

Not sure but make sure you visit the Voodoo lounge on top of the Rio hotel. It's ace!

There are plenty of people on the strip who claim to get you in without waiting , how true this is i don't know, but i'm sure they will seek you out they seem to approach most people.

I seem to recall there was a residents line at the Cosmo, are you staying anywhere where you want to Club? Might be worth looking into.

The line for Tao was the longest I have ever seen!

Have a look on here:

From the "Las Vegas All You Need To know" sticky at the top of the forum, I dealt with nightclubs in Part 2 :

Like restaurants, there are an amazing array of nightclubs in Las Vegas, catering for all types of clientele. And, just like restauarants, they come and go like the wind - it's an incredibly ephemeral scene, relying wholly on fads, fashions and word of mouth recommendations. (As a 'for instance', The Palazzo has been open less than a year and its headline club was 40/40, a joint project with Jay-Z -who is a massive record producer/artist, if you were unaware. This closed down last month, and is now being converted into a sports book/bar!). Nightclubs are also not my specialist subject, I must say! So I'll just post this link :
vegas/nightclubs/
and hope you can find something to satisfy your wildest desires!

One thing I must include - some of these clubs have recently been heavily criticised for being involved in the systematic 'shaking down' of male customers in the queues to gain admittance. This included such practices as charging extortionate amounts for 'front of the line' passes, indiscrimate intimidation of patrons unwilling to part with their money for such 'services' (leading to the breaking of a leg of one such unfortunate innocent) and allowing outside security firms virtual carte blanche in the running of admission policies at the clubs. It's not all of them, and it may have ceased, but please bear it in mind.

Also this page from the Las Vegas Advisor has mmore up to date stuff regarding nightclubs/shows.bars etc :

lasvegasadvisor/party.cfm

One thing I would say is be very wary of any of the multitude of people on The Strip/in casinos offering you supposed "Line Passes" - they rarely, if ever, gain you any benefit whatsoever (indeed, very often the 'Front Of Line' queue is longer than the 'normal' queue) and are - generally- a total waste of time.

I'm no expert, but I've visited Las Vegas 14 times since 1989 - if you want some advice, feel free to pm me!

Thanks all, top responses as usual.

The Voodoo Lounge looks great.

Already contacted the hotel (Aria) about the Gold Lounge and Liquid Pool, so hopefully they will be able to sort us out with some comps!

With so much choice it's difficult to plan where to go, think we will just chance our luck when we are there.
