I actually emailed Tim Hortons in regard to the state of the Queen St Cardiff branch .
I haven’t been in there now for a good while , I gave it a couple of chances and gave up it was so dirty .
Not sure if it’s any better now .

Apparently there is one in Hamilton business park! Think I'll need to try

We have 4 within 10 mins drive, linwood, paisley, Glasgow and silverburn shopping center. One week the linwood branch was giving free drinks to every customer, this included cold drinks as well. I much prefer it to Starbucks, i like the fact if you do the survey you get a fre baked goid, so can save up to £2, so a nice incentive to pop in. X

You're sooo lucky! I live in the south east so absolutely nothing! The best one we visited on holiday at Easter was Stenhousemuir but it hadn't been open that long so was still quite shiny

It’s the same weak dishwater coffee as Starbucks and overly sweet everything else - not feeling the love here

Did you try the filter coffee or the espresso coffee?

Tim Hortons does filter coffee like they do in the majority of the USA, whereas Starbucks does espresso coffee and related drinks (latte, cappuccino, etc). The filter coffee from Tim Hortons is very different to espresso coffee.

I generally don’t drink filter coffee, stick to espresso or macchiato (espresso machiato in the US).
I always have to ask for an extra shot in most North American coffee places

Well that explains it. Of course they will be the same as Starbucks - it's the same type of coffee.

You could always ask for an extra shot in Tim Hortons and Starbucks like you do in North America?

I have a Tim Hortons near me. I've had breakfast in there a couple of times, but really didn't like it. I had a sausage and muffin, but it was very dry and the coffee was nothing special. Don't think I'll be back
