Mobile Orlando property investment

Hi everyone! I have seen a few managed properties for sale on Instagram, twitter etc recently. Just out of curiosity I was looking into it and it's Enclave Suites, Stay Sky and The Point, as well as various other condos. I'm just wondering if anyone owns properties like this? How does it actually work? Any advice on this would be very much appreciated!

Many of them you have to buy outright and the management , resort fees etc can be really costly
Many have suffered badly and still are from the property crash a couple of glaring ones come to my mind
Commission on managed rentals i.e. Your income can be huge we know friends who arrived at there's and guests were in putbin by the management they were on a promo visit
Just be very careful research research research then sit back and think again it's not unknown for the management companies to sell out under your feet either with no disclosure and you are stuck and that's the best option believe me

Is it an investment though ? Will the property gain in value over time like here - I don’t understand how these rental properties fare against residential homes ?

I suppose the investment benefit comes from having cheaper holidays yourselves and rental income. Balanced out by management co fees and maintenance.

I imagine it’s a fine line.

For the price of a property you could have many many holidays and thats without factoring running costs and taxes. There is an excess of rental property ,to cover costs is difficult

As a former owner of SW Fl property, unless you're a seasoned owner like Helen, or you have a very large pot of money, I strongly advise not to buy.
