Airport Transfers
Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how best to get from and to the airports in LA Nd San Fran? I know Vegas is cheapest with just a taxi but not sure on our other 2 destinations. Living social has a round trip for San Fran airport for $70 ( excluding tax and gratuity ) and with a voucher code I can get this for $52 which seems good but I was wondering if I can get this cheaper any other way? |

What about supershuttle?
We used execucar for private prebooked transfers, as I didn't want any hassle. All the transfers were on time, clean and good drivers

A taxi from SFO to downtown will be $60 (ish) just walk out of the terminal and the taxi rank is in front of you. So much easier than faffing with shuttles.

We used supershuttle from LAX-Anaheim booking them in advance and they were great, would use them again no problem and alot cheaper than a taxi.
From SFO we got the BART train form the terminal taking you right into the centre near Union Square, depending on where you are staying, was easy and only a few $$ each

Thanks everyone. Don't know if we will want to get a train after about 16 hours on the go although does seem much cheaper!
The living social deal works out at $52 round trip so co pared to taxis and even the shuttle this seems like a good price? |

Just went ahead and booked a car for the return airport trip in San Fran and got it for $52 from Living Social.
Here's the link if anyone else is looking to book: livingsocial/deals/1...&rpi=158408495 Just LA to look at now and that's another thing ticked off! |

We always use Super Shuttle in San Francisco, just go out the main door and there's a few companies there, just tell them your hotel, jump in, wait a bit for more people (sometimes they just go) and then 25 mins later you're there!
