Disabled placard

What’s the latest you can apply for the disabled parking placard?

I’m just under my 60 days , it obviously we still don’t know if our September trip is going ahead , so I’ve held off applying .
What’s the latest time in days you can safely apply for one ?

And has anybody got the link for applying for one also please so I do t have to Wade through posts trying to find it

Thanks

Jules

Hi,

Here is the link for the placards.
octaxcol/motor-vehic...king-placards/

I have always had mine processed very speedily in the past (pre covid) taking just a few days.

We are due to go again late September but I really can't see us being allowed to travel at the moment so I haven't applied for a placard yet.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for that , that’s why deep down I haven’t done it , and with yestersdays news , I think it’s sealed the fact we won’t be going with the extension of the border not being open.

Thanks for the link

Jules

Can I ask a question, if you get a badge from Orange County can you use the badge anywhere in Florida or is it only in Orange County?
We will be spending some time in Rotonda West and wasn't sure if I'd have to apply for another badge from Charlotte County.

Thanks
David

As far as I am aware the placard is valid throughout Florida and possibly in some other states as well.

They are issued BY the county but don't even have the county named on them. They are only identifiable by state. Florida recognizes all state hang tags.
