We loved it! The music was great, and I loved the story and the characters. A relief after I didn't like any of the other recent movies (Soul, Onward, Raya) - this was MUCH better imo!

Just watched this... first time I'm bored from beginning to end by a Disney animated movie! Apart from the beautiful visuals and animation I thought it was a huge waste of time. I still have to watch Raya and the Last Dragon and Pixar's Luca, I hope they're better than this.

Didn't care for it, and find that Bruno song annoying...

Why are there no villains anymore in Disney movies? The better the villain, the better the film usually. Are they concerned the kids are going to be scared or something?

The music was as boring as the rest of the movie IMO. I'm starting to think Lin-Manuel Miranda is overrated. Hamilton was good, but Into the Heights was so boring that I couldn't finish it, and now this...

We loved it as well.
So different from the “normal” Disney movies, showing that all family members are different and all should be accepted for who they are.
Loved the songs as well !

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that didn’t enjoy it.
Found it boring and too much singing.
Really “meh”.

Luca was great , 100 times better than Encanto.
Raya was ‘ok’ too compared to this.

Thinking about it, I don’t think I’ve been into many of the more recent ones. Raya, Luca and onward were ok, but not brill. I wasn’t into Soul. I like the music of Encanto, but didn’t find the story to have any interest or a twist or anything. I think Coco may have been my last favourite one, with Moana before that. It’s like these straight to Disney plus ones aren’t as good

Encanto grew on me! I hated it at first, kept watching as it was out family movie night and by the end I enjoyed it. When I watched it again the next day (4 year old DD loved it that much!) It made sense.

Im not too keen on Luca but Raya did the same thing too me. Hated it and then loved it that much we watched loads after that!
