Double Boxed Toys shop - worth a trip?

We are in Preston so it would mean a train to Wigan and then a train to Prescot.

Is it worth the bother?

They are currently moving over to larger premises across the road from their original store. Went for a look round a few months back and they had some cool stuff but very much at Disney prices. I'll probably check them out again once they're up and running as they reckon they'll have a whole lot more stock available.

Ah,OK. Probably not a good time then. We will be back in Preston later this year so maybe we can take a look then.

I don't suppose anyone knows if the Prescot store is open anymore? I can't see anything or a phone number to ring.

I�m fairly sure it�s gone back to online only. They might open for the odd event.

Not sure if the store is still open. We usually call in when we goto Knowsley as it�s very close. The premises are large and they had lots of merchandise but prices same as Disney. We really enjoyed getting that �Disney fix� though.
Could you hire a car & make a day of it by going to Knowsley as well? This is how close you get to the lions. Lol.
