Looks like a great trip! I’m not much of a camper either but I do like the idea of cooking outside and then sleeping in a hotel. I’m looking forward to following along. Your girls are adorable. Michelle xx

But for self catering places hot dogs are good ideas.
Definitely need a cool box.
Ah sorry I may have confused the issue!
We didn't camp, we also stayed in Premier Inns, the camp stove was for picnics during the day drives, it saved us quite bit of money as we were there for two weeks and as it was in between lockdowns a lot of cafes weren't open.

Have you been to that cafe at all?
Google says it the first house in Scotland or something so thought it would be a cool stop.

Might do will have to see what I can get in the car. Will definitely be lots of car snacks etc. If I bought a camping stove I’d have to take kettle for a cuppa too 😂

Day 2
Set off to glencoe. Stop at craft and things cafe.
Hubby is doing the “scotburgring” which is a 30min detour which is the kinlochleven loop.

On to the Loch Ness exhibition I think.
Maybe a pub on Loch Ness.
Premier in Inverness £78.
4 maybe 5 hours of driving.

Thinking of getting those little I spy books that we used to have as kids with that funny marshmallow man on the front or did I dream that?

Omg yes,we used to hang about there many years ago as kids,it was a really busy campsite then. I actually met my husband in Gretna Green across from The Blacksmith's Shop.

Not too far away from Gretna - I was born & brought up in Lochmaben & still live in the area.
It’s looking lovely around here just now.

Day 3.
From Inverness to Skye.
Looking at staying in a pod. Think it looks cool. £105 for the night.
