I loved the final series and thought the last episode was perfect. Dexter killing Logan meant it was time. While I would love for there to be another series with Harrison as the new Dexter I think it might disappoint .

I feel much happier with this ending than the previous one but I did contemplate switching off about ten minutes before the end so that I could always just wonder .

I was really enjoying this series, I’m not very happy with how it ended.

series was pretty good and agree with others who have said last episode was a bit rushed, seems the writers wanted to put a close to things, but I doubt Dexter would have been a bit sloppy, especially not taking Logan. Here's a wild suggestion they could have gone down - Harrison could have turned out to be one of Trinity's kids, therefore pretending to be Harrison, and frame Dexter for all the murders, inc Matt as he could also have actually been an eye witness...

Finally got round to finishing it tonight. I guess ultimately, the ending was a fitting end. Rushed? Possibly. I'm not certain how they could/should have done it differently.
I did enjoy the series though. Thats it for me, can't see any point in another series with Harrison as the main character, would spoil it all for me.

Just finished this - I’m sooooo gutted it’s all over. I now want to go back and watch all the old ones over again with all the old faces - I just adore Deb!

 

I was also disappointed the reunion between Dexter & Batista didn’t happen, I pretty much squealed when he said he’d be arriving first thing! Was a shame about the ending, that’s it now, no more, but after the last finale, I think it was good it got proper closure if there weren’t going to be any more episodes.

finally binged this over Easter- it was a good series, better than the later originals but nowhere near as good as the first few seasons. Disappointed that Angel was just a cameo. I understand the Logan kill as it gave them a reason to realise he had crossed the line and not followed the code and justify his death. I have read the writer is keen to do season 2 with Harrison as the lead and Dexter as the conscience voice
