American Auto - new show from the guys behind superstore!

From the creator of Superstore comes a new workplace comedy that takes the wheels off the automobile industry. Set in Detroit, the corporate executives of Payne Motors are at a crossroads: adapt to the changing times or be sent to the junkyard. Shaking things up is the new CEO, whose leadership, experience, and savvy are only slightly offset by her complete lack of knowledge about cars. Luckily, her team has some of the best minds in the business - when they aren’t fighting or trying to outwit each other. From the corporate office to the factory floor, the crew of Payne Motors is driving home the laughs.



the pilot episode is available on the NBC site for free without a signup/login/etc. you'll need a vpn though as its geoblocked in the uk. first three episodes out now, will hopefully be watching them later! (its on peacock if thats any use to you!)

season 2 started this week! episode 1 was a banger!



i didnt realise when i watched s1, but the english guy in it is humphrey from Welcome to Wrexham! and that he's married to megan ganz (writer on always sunny/community and co-creator of mythic quest)

anyway, still not sure if/where this is available in the UK i would imagine it should be though, as superstore did well over here, and it's very similar in style

Season 1 was on nowtv as we binged it a week or so ago but it did say it was going to be removed so maybe when s2 makes it they'll put both back on

Discovered this on Friday night on Sky with 4 hours before it went off-air. Got up to episode 8!

Was really good. Definitely see the Superstore similarities. Hope it comes back soon.
