Just finished it. Balled for the last 15 minutes straight.

Absolutely brilliant show from start to finish.

Watched it all this evening. Wow! My emotions went from laughing to crying through and as others said the last 15 mins or so my eyes properly welled up.

Saw the first episode of series 3 tonight. I’m not a Ricky Gervais fan but love this series. It’s brutally honest about such a taboo subject, death and bereavement. Very funny but also very sad and emotionally draining. Fantastic writing

I've watched the first two new episodes. I'm trying to save the rest for a night when DH is out at work. I do think it's one of the best series ever, very unique and a complete one off..just brilliant.

Is it recommended if you are still struggling with a loss yourself? I not generally tearful anymore, but I tend to avoid things that will knowingly upset me if you see what I mean! 😂

I have cancer. I find this program reassuring that life will.go on for those left behind. Yes there will be sadness but they will move forwards albeit slowly

I can see how it’s reassuring to many in your position, obviously not easy to watch in many ways but it can help too. I have a huge phobia about illness and death so I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the programme but, like you, it somehow helps me realise that death is inevitable and we all have to face it at some point, and that life will continue for the ones we love and leave behind and they will be sad, but cope

Cried quite a bit - particularly since since Lisa’s poem was read at my mums funeral.
Such clever and insightful writing .
