I worked in an office directly on the Thames.

Some bright spark named all the meeting rooms in order of towns down the Thames (Wallingford, Moulsford, Goring etc)

Great for people who were local and knew the order - useless for me who had to keep a crib sheet of where they all were.

Interestingly in my employment history, three of the four places I’ve worked all had meeting rooms named after trees (oak, birch, willow, alder etc). Maybe I should check that out when I interview for any future jobs, might be where I’m meant to be if it’s the same!

I worked in a two storey office before and all meeting rooms on first floor had names after animals that fly and the ground floor animals that ”walk”. Thought that was quite clever.

My current building has meeting rooms after famous scientists. Others I have seen are named after planets, trees or fruits.

As you are a logistics company - maybe name after greek god for transport Mercury? And maybe his father Jupiter?

Have to agree, we had names for meeting rooms in my old office, cruise themed, nobody could ever remember which was which, better to stay simple.

My last office had names that the staff chose and I think the theme which was voted on was people who died in 2016. I remember meetings in the prince room or Carrie fisher for example but over time they became 1, 2,3 etc still it could have been game of thrones theme so we got lucky.

Current is building name, floor number.room number buts is large building.
