Thanks folks. We've kept all the receipts for purchases etc. We've a clarity card we can use to pay for things if we're stuck. We'll have to buy some luggage to bring gifts and other things home with us. We'll sort it all out with BA and insurance when we get back home. Meanwhile we're just going to enjoy our holiday.

Second day at Busch gardens today. The park was dead yesterday and the rides were all walk on 😁

A week? Wow, there's absolutely no excuse for this! Well done for not letting it ruin your trip.

I feel your pain. We went to New York at about the time T5 opened and they were losing cases all the time. We were only there for 5 days and cases turned up after 4!

I was on this flight too. Waited 2 hrs at the baggage claim with zero communication from BA or MCO.
Spent hours every day trying to get through to every BA phone number I could find.
It either rang out, or got the automated too busy to take your call etc. Or put on hold and cut off.
Even MCO BA baggage claim wouldn't pick up , and their voice mail was full.
Eventually got through to someone on Monday night on an Ametican number, and was told my case was still at LHR! despite emails to say it would be on the 26th Nov flight.
The Agent filled in a form for the "concern team" and miraculously it was delivered 4 hrs later.
I was only there for 5 full days so spent a lot of valuable time trying to find clothes and essentials. Not easy on Thanksgiving evening when even Walmart is closed.

I’m sure they are at O’Hare as they couldn’t get my boarding pass thst I got at Orlando to work even although they told me at Orlando I could go straight to the gate at the gate they decided everyone transferring via a domestic flight out side of the US paperwork needed checked again delayed the flight some what is all I’ll say

Well we've just had our cases delivered this morning after waiting 10 days! Not much point unpacking too much as we go home Thursday. Just relieved to have them back.
